Current Vacancies:

1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant:

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and qualified SEND Teaching Assistant, to support a child with an EHCP in Key Stage 1.
This position is fixed term until 31.08.2025, but this may be extended. This will be reviewed annually. The hours will be 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.45am – 3.15pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, term-time only. Grade/Salary Details: Grade 3 (pts 4-6) £24,404 - £25,183 pa pro rata
We seek someone who:
• has experience of working with children with SEND 
• has experience of working with children with communication difficulties
• has knowledge and experience of My Plans, EHCPs and reviewing and setting targets
• is confident in working with students on a 1:1 basis, with small groups and assisting the class teachers where necessary
• has good interpersonal skills especially when dealing with children, colleagues and parents/carers whilst upholding the CARE ethos of the school
• can establish good relationships with children whilst setting firm boundaries
• is sensitive to the social and emotional implications for the child
• is able to identify children's strengths and targets to help build their development
• is supportive and keen to work as a part of a dedicated team and to be involved in village school life
• will support and enhance the values of our school.

Midday Supervisor:

 

We are seeking to appoint a committed and dependable Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team. Our MDSA’s are responsible for the welfare and safety of our children during lunchtime whilst they eat their lunch in the dining room and during playtime. Duties also include responding to accidents.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with children, be a good role model for our children and show initiative by supporting positive relationships and embedding the ethos of the school and our CARE statement. The contract is for 1.5 hours per day Monday to Friday and paid at Grade 2 pa pro rata term time only. The hours will be between 12pm and 1.30 pm.
