We are very lucky to have Mrs Rowlands and Mrs Kelly who work with our children 1:1, or in small groups, to support their wellbeing, through pastoral care. We also have Miss Fielding, our schools SEND Manager and ELSA Lead, who oversees and supports the staff and children accessing the Hub.

 At its simplest, pastoral care is ensuring the physical and emotional welfare of pupils. It is the essential foundation upon which learning can take place and is an essential part of our school. If children are safe and happy, they can learn and thrive.

The Hub provides tailored interventions for emotional wellbeing, friendship, focus and behaviour as well as supporting staff with strategies to support pupils’ well-being within the classroom. It also offers a needs-led support model, in which any child can access the Hub if they feel they need some extra support, or just to talk things through.
