Curriculum

This term, our topic will be history based but will also include Art, RE, and PSHCE.  Our main theme will be 'Crime & Punishment' throughout history and the ways in which people in power have affected changes.  We will spend some time investigating the artist Banksy and the messages his art portrays.  In RE, we will look at the ways in which different religions interpret right from wrong and how they try to make the world a better place. Please see below for an attached copy of the homework grid for this half-term.

English

In English, our key skills will be relative embedded clauses (clauses which include relative pronouns such as:  who, that, which, whose, where, when) and appear within the middle of a sentence. We will also be recapping our prior knowledge: expanded noun phrases, fronted adverbials and compound sentences.  We will explore these skills through a range of different text types.

Maths

We will be learning about Measure, Angles problem-solving and of course the 4 operations.

We are looking forward to the exciting learning that will take place!
